The fiftieth release on Emote Music comes from label owner Jacob Todd under his Whitespace guise. Katabasis is a series of three melody driven songs that together offer a glimpse of Jacob's evolving sound. Berlin artist PERGE turns in an acid laden interpretation of Katabasis One that relies on broken beats and intricate effects do deliver its brooding message. Josef Gaard re-imagines Katabasis Three as a disorienting stream of melody and rhythm.
